The McLaren Vale Institute Hall is a standout location nestled in the heart of McLaren Vale. 

This venue is an ideal location for weddings, large events and functions. 

The venue is heritage listed and includes two hall spaces. The larger hall features immaculate wooden floorboards with a large stage and bar area. 

The hall opens out to the Piazza della Valle which features an outdoor stage with granite steps, water feature and an all-weather pavilion.

Main Hall (large heritage listed)

  • Small kitchen/servery includes fridge, stove, microwave

  • Crockery and cutlery  

  • 15 Trestles 

  • 12 Round tables (seat 10)

  • Large theatre style stage 

  • 3 Phase power

  • Wooden floor 

 Fees and charges

  • Regular bookings per hour (minimum 2 hours) - from $15

  • Large functions (entire venue) - $1000

  • Entire venue includes - access to both halls, large kitchen and the Piazza.

  • Bond -  $500

  • Deposit (at the time of booking) - $200 at the time of booking.

Other fees and charges may apply for casual and commercial hire, contact the booking officer to confirm.  

Please note:

  • Liquor License required to serve alcohol

  • All tables and chairs are included and toilets are cleaned and fully stocked

  • All areas must be cleaned by 8am Sunday

 

Supper room (smaller hall)

  • Full Kitchen facilities includes fridge, dishwasher, large gas stove, microwave, pie warmer

  • Crockery and cutlery available

  • Regular bookings per hour (minimum 2 hours) - from $15

  • Large functions (entire venue) - from $1000

  • Entire venue includes - access to both halls, kitchens and the Piazza.

  • Bond -  $500
